Title: Emilie's Green Beans and Christening Carrots

1pkFrench style green beans
  Frozen
1pkBaby frozen carrots
1pkChinese lemon chicken mix
1/2cWater
1tbMargarine
2tbFresh parsley minced
  Canned red pepper strips to
  Garnish

Parboil beans in boiling water about 3 minutes and drain. ( I used Safeway select which were very sweet and tender and did not require much cooking. Cook carrots in boiling water until tender about 5 minutes. Drain. Mix Chinese lemon chicken sauce as directed on package. Pour into zip lock bag and add beans. Seal and mix to coat beans and chill overnight. Melt margarine and add chopped parsley. Pour into zip lock bag and add carrots. Mix to coat carrots and chill overnight. Place beans in center of platter. Arrange carrots around the beans and garnish with red pepper strips. Emilie rwsm05a
